What: Marshe di Artesania, a monthly market to promote the work of artists & artisans, every second Saturday of the month. And everything is, of course, … made in Curacao! Since its start in February 2012, Gallery Alma Blou created the opportunity for local artisans to display their craft works to the public. By doing this on a regular basis, the public came to rely on the craft market to purchase their unique presents or home decorations directly from the artisans themselves.
When: January 11, 2014, 10:00-14:00 hrs
Where: Gallery Alma Blou, Landhuis Habaai, galleryalmablou@gmail.com, 4628896, Curacao
During this Marshe di Artesania please take a look at the products of Eyu design Curacao: a new line of alternative toys made from recycled lumber, developed by us at the mansion and shaped by the artist Angel Luis de la Rosa.the Cuban artist. As an educated professional and working for years as an autonomous artist, he is convinced that every artist is an artisan too. ‘It doesn’t matter if you are an artist or an artisan, you need basic skills to be able to create’.
